Grass-fed sheep milk is truly special; it is one of the most nutritious milks available and may be helpful for those with allergies and intolerance.When compared with milk from grain-fed sheep, milk from grass-fed sheep is naturally richer in:
  • the proportion of short and medium-chain fatty acids. Short and medium-chain fatty acids are easier to digest, are a better source of energy and may help decrease cholesterol
  • Vaccenic acid (VA). VA is a good trans-fat which may decrease cholesterol and is a precursor to
  • Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which is beneficial in that it may have anti-inflammatory properties
Grass-fed sheep milk is also proven to taste better than regular (grain-fed) milk.
